• NE PDX debut a success!

I can't believe I'm awake after last night. Thank you to everyone that showed at Biddy McGraw's last night. We are truly humbled by your support. We had friends from Vancouver, WA, Beaverton, Hillsboro and various parts of PDX. We even had a few PDX All-Stars in the house.

First of all I want to thank my Jenny. She made some awesome jello shots before she, my sister Angela and Genevieve hit the road. Jenny was the Designated Driver and she took some awesome pix that will be up here soon. Thank you Joe, Heather, and Carl for making the drive from Vancouver. Joe gets extra points for working that overtime and beating the cold he'd dealt with most of the week. Heather gets extra points just for being Heather. Thanks also to Big David Lewis and his beautiful lady, Sandy and their entourage of cool peeps. Vince's Mrs. Sharon and her table of awesome ladies and friends.

There were some awesome musical talents that showed up and I'll admit I was a bit nervous as most hadn't seen us play before and they are all part of the top notch musicians in the Portland Music Scene. Kevin Hahn, lead singer from Stone In Love - a Journey tribute band, Marcus Funkytown James with his stellar dance moves and bring-the-party-attitude. Davin, the lead guitar man for Stone In Love, Radical Revolution, Hair Assault and Steel Horse. The incomparable Chris Merrill, top PDX drummer, Jimmy James and his beautiful wife Mary. Cassandra G. and her bright smile. I know there are some names I'm forgetting here so my apologies in advance.

We also made some great new friends at Biddy's including some folks who came down from Seattle to see a band they follow play a show tonight. Talk about fans of music! We really appreciate every one's support and hope you all had as much fun as we did. We would like to apologize to the local neighborhood around 60th & Glisan for partying too hard. We also want to thank the great staff at Biddy's for keeping everyone well-hydrated with tasty libations and well-fed with great late night treats like Irish Stew! We also want to thank the Portland Police for maintaining order and patience with all the people who were standing outside waiting to get in. This happens when our friends come out for good times and bad decisions. Until next time Peace!

Vince here. I can't add much to Rob's description of last night. and I'll verify the Portland Police aspect; it got a little crazy. I'll add to the list of friends who attended: thanks to Loren and Kelley, Dave (Nutcase Helmets) and Tori, Larry Berent (bassist for Jennifer Lynn, Melody Guy and countless others), Tim Cowan (House Organ Booking & PR, guitarist for Jennifer Lynn), his lady, Elinor (she's swellinor), and Janet S. and friends. Thank you so much for coming and supporting our PDX debut.
