• Red Lion Inn: the perfect spot for good times and bad decisions.

So last night at Red Lion Jantzen Beach was a blast. Walking in you'd a thought it was Grammy night. There were a lot of beautiful people dressed to the nines and some true music royalty in the house as well.

We pulled out all the stops including a stirring tribute to our fallen hero David Bowie as we tore through his classic Rebel, Rebel. Chad, Vince and Rod really nailed the groove, sound and vision. Allowing me to channel my inner "Thin White Duke".

Tim Cowan and Robert Peart of the Jennifer Lynn band fame were in attendance, holding court with some beautiful people. Later, Tim and Robert would tell us they couldn't believe the music that we had people dancing to. Songs from the Cure to Modern English, Cheap Trick and of course our original tunes. We take that as high praise as the guys have shared the stage with Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Gary Alan.

Kerry Movassagh of Tommy Tutone fame along with his lovely better half, Ann, were in attendance and even joined in the dancing fun on the dirty groove and haunting sounds of Rod singing Led Zeppelin's "How Many More Times". Kerry was digging our sound. Looking back we should have had him, Tim and Rob share the stage. They're all amazing players that humble us with their presence. I think they enjoyed the night off, but I can imagine the fun it would have been.

Special thanks to Christine for running sound. She normally pops in to sing with us but she was feeling a little under-the-weather. She rallied though, and really helped dial in our volumes and tones. Special thanks also go to Tiffany, Nikki, Isaac and all the great staff that kept our crazy friends hydrated and partying all night long.

Our beautiful friends in attendance also include my high school choir girl, Kirsten, along with her rockstar boyfriend, Andy, who leads the Poison tribute band, Poisonous. We had Leslie, Michael Ryan, Monica, Penny, Angie, David, and a crazy crew of people that Vince brought in that chose to only be identified as "friends of Sharon" (Vince's Wife). They chose to remain anonymous only because we were in a hotel and they were having good times and making some bad decisions.

Apologies to be given, there are some names I know I'm forgetting. However by night's end I had been up for over 23 hours. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Great crowd, awesome friends and a river front view. Until next time.
